Practical Information On this page you will find practical information about the venue, accommodation and travel. To the south you can find the fields and vineyards of the southern Moravian lowlands, to the north the wooded foothills of the Bohemian-Moravian range. The summer school offers a balanced mixture of lectures and workshops coupled with interesting sites visits and field trips. Brno is located just a few hours away from Prague and Vienna. During your stay, you will therefore also visit the Czech Capital, Prague (including a visit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), as well as Vienna (including a guided tour of the United Nations Office) |

Facilities include: studios with two twin rooms, a toilet and a shower; shared kitchens are in the corridor; each room equipped with internet connection.

Transport around Brno
General info – public transport - tickets for public transport can be bought in ticket machines (accept coins only) or at newspaper standsregular tickets are CZK 20,- for 15 minutes, CZK 25,- for 60 minutes (incl. any transfers), or CZK 90,- for one day monthly tickets are CZK 550,- or CZK 275,- (students until 26th year of age) tickets are valid for all means of transport incl. trams, buses and trolley buses. Do not forget to punch them immediately after getting onto the means of transportfor route planning, please use special version of IDOS or map of transport routes. From 23:00 to 5:00, the public transports operate in the night regime (there are special night bus lines calling every hour) – consult IDOS to plan your route
